Patient records are some of the most sensitive data a hospital holds. This page explains, in plain words, how MedBandhu keeps them safe and what we ask of your team.
Free setup and data migration · no per-user fees · support on WhatsApp
Each record belongs to one hospital. The software checks this on every request, so staff of one hospital cannot see another hospital's patients, bills or stock.
Every person gets their own login and a role such as Hospital Admin, Branch Admin, Doctor, Nurse, Receptionist, Pharmacist or Accountant. Each role sees only what the job needs. A doctor sees their own patients by default, and financial reports are limited to the roles you allow.
Passwords are stored in a scrambled (hashed) form, never in plain text. Password reset links are sent by email and expire.
The whole site runs over HTTPS, and browsers are told to always use the secure version. We also send standard browser protection headers.
Your data is stored on servers in India.
Changes to key records, such as appointments, are logged with who made them and when.
We never sell or share hospital data. If you leave, we give you a full copy of your patients, bills and stock on request.
The live demo runs on a separate demo hospital with made-up patients. It is reset every night and never holds real patient data.
No. Each hospital's data is isolated, and users can only reach their own hospital's records.
Only team members who need access to give you the support you ask for or to keep the service running. We do not use your patient data for anything else.
We built MedBandhu with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 in mind: data is hosted in India and each hospital's data is kept separate. The hospital remains responsible for how it collects and uses its patients' data. See our privacy policy for details.
Open the live demo hospital, or message us and we will walk your team through it on a call or at your hospital.
